Welcome to Florence! Would you like to introduce your children to the world’s artistic masterpieces in a memorable way? Our Michelangelo Tour for Kids in Florence is an excursion the whole family will enjoy. With an expert English-speaking guide art comes to life to inspire and delight one and all.

Florence boasts many haunts of the Renaissance genius Michelangelo. Discover where this fascinating sculptor, painter, engineer and writer lived and worked. Learn what motivated the creation of his grand classical works, and how artists of the day were commissioned.

Your guide will tell tales of the prank-loving Michelangelo who created his famous statue of David from a leftover block of marble. You’ll think you hear echoes of his laughter as you make your way along the streets he walked as a boy.

Visit the Accademia Gallery and witness the magnificent statue of David, Michelangelo’s depiction of the Biblical hero David. Then pay your respects and bid Florence goodbye at Holy Cross Church, where the artistic master lies entombed.

Our guide Rachele made the tour very fun and informative for the whole family. We started our Michelangelo Tour exploring the highlights of the city center, playing trivia, games and treasure hunts.

The children really loved playing games and scoring points (versus mum and dad – by the way the won). Rachele is funny, knowledgeable and very nice!

The highlights of the tour was the magnificent David in the Accademia Museum, we learned so much about Michelangelo and its art. Thanks Rachele.
