Is your family a fan of Dan Brown's books? Have you read the “Inferno”? Than you surely won't miss this unique tour that follows the route described in the book. This tour makes the story of Inferno and the history of Florence become one, you will explore the city finding the symbols and mysteries described in the book and your guide will explain them to you.

But it's not a normal tour where you just follow a guide and listen. You'll have to work to solve tests to reach the end of the tour – so you better be prepared! This is a perfect tour if your children – teenagers or just young adults – are fans of such a great book!

Just like the Harvard University Professor Robert and his friend Sienna, we will start from Ponte Vecchio following outside the passage called Vasarian Corridor. Then we'll visit the well-preserved Palazzo Vecchio to see the fresco with the Battle of Marciano where Vasari left the mysterious writing “Cerca Trova”.

In the same building we will find Dante’s death mask, crucial in the intriguing novel. After visiting the Room of the Maps, we leave the palace and walk along the same streets that Robert and Sienna took to reach Dante’s House and the so called Dante’s Church.

After that your guide will lead you inside the Duomo and the Baptistery, the oldest building in Florence, where you can admire the mosaics of the vault and the place where Dante’s mask was found in the book.

This is an unusual and interesting way to visit Florence, uniting the past and the present, history and story, truth and fantasy!

Our guide Rachele made the tour very fun and informative for the whole family. We started our Michelangelo Tour exploring the highlights of the city center, playing trivia, games and treasure hunts.

The children really loved playing games and scoring points (versus mum and dad – by the way the won). Rachele is funny, knowledgeable and very nice!

The highlights of the tour was the magnificent David in the Accademia Museum, we learned so much about Michelangelo and its art. Thanks Rachele.
